Taiwan Wins Gold in Badminton Men's Doubles at Tokyo Olympics 2020

TEMPO.CO, Tokyo - Taiwan's Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin won the badminton men's doubles Olympic gold medal on Saturday by beating China's Li Junhui and Liu Yuchen 21-18 21-12 at the Tokyo Olympics Games.
Lee and Wang were tailing 10-6 before they caught up to lead a 21-18 win. Li/Liu, unable to bounce back, were overwhelmed by their opponents and lost the second set 21-12. Li/Liu harvested thier first Olympic silver.
The Chinese duo therefore claimed silver, while Malaysia's Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik bagged the event's bronze medal.
