  • TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia won another bronze at the Tokyo Olympics on Wednesday, July 28, adding the total of the country's Olympic medal to three; with 2 bronzes and 1 silver.

    Weighlifter Rahmat Erwin Abdullah managed to collect the medal at the 73 kilogram class. The total lifting was 342 kilogram from 152 kg of snatch and 190 kg of clean and jerk.

    Meanwhile, the gold medal was collected by Chinese lifter Shin Zhiyong with the total lifting of 364 kilogram. Venezuelan lifter, Mayora Pernia Julio Ruben, won the silver with the total lifting of 346 kilogram.

    Indonesia was at the 38th position based on the medal achievement, along with Mongolia, as per Wednesday night at 21:00 Western Indonesian Time.

    At the same time, Japan still topped the Tokyo Olympics championship with 13 golds, 4 silvers, and 5 bronzes. The second position was secured by China with 12 golds, 6 silvers, and 9 bronzes. The United States was at the third position with 11 golds, 11 silvers, and 9 bronze medals.
