Indonesia Covid-19 Update: 13,668 New Cases, 335 Deaths

TEMPO.CO, JakartaIndonesia continues to see high numbers of daily Covid-19 cases this month. As of Tuesday noon, June 22, the country recorded 13,668 new cases over the last 24 hours, bringing its total caseload to over 2 million since March 2020.

The number of new cases far exceeded the day's recovery, which was 8,375 people. Indonesia now records 1,810,136 recoveries.

Meanwhile, authorities reported 335 more deaths related to the new coronavirus, raising the total casualty to 55,291.

The government also announced that 124,918 are suspected to have been infected. Indonesia today tested 130,630 specimens.

This information was delivered by the National Covid-19 Task Force. All data and statistics are available for public at Covid19.go.id.
