TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesia Stock Exchange or IDX is ready to welcome three new issuers to hold initial public offerings (IPO) this week. The three companies planning to go public are Panca Anugerah Wisesa, Ladangbaja Murni, and Triniti Dinamik.
Panca Anugerah Wisesa is a furniture company that will be officially listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as MGLV on Tuesday, 8 June.
Ladangbaja Murni will follow on June 10, and it would be listed as LABA. On the same day, Triniti Dinamik will also list its shares as TRUE.
Roger M.M. from Mirae Asset Sekuritas said that the IPO trend in the second semester of 2021 will continue to improve, in line with the growing number of retail investors in the capital market and increasing optimism over economic recovery.
"We are seeing an increasing trend for IPO trend in the future. The improving economic growth will create bigger interest for IPOs as well," Roger said on Thursday, June 3.
Roger also said that the IPO plan of GoTo—a company that resulted from the merge of Gojek and Tokopedia—would also increase prospective issuers' confidence to go public.
