BKN Outlines Indicators for Dismissal of 51 KPK Employees

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Civil Service Agency (BKN) Head Bima Haria Wibisana explained the indicators used in the assessment of 75 employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) who did not pass the Civic Knowledge Test (TWK). Bima said the TWK assessment was divided into several clusters.
“So there are several indicators for the TWK assessment,” said Bima at his office, East Jakarta, Tuesday, May 25, after the meeting with the KPK and related ministries regarding the fate of the 75 KPK employees.
The assessment concluded that 51 of 75 employees could not be part of the anti-graft body or were dismissed because they could no longer be trained.
According to Bima, the indicators are personality; influence; and the PUNP aspect which covers the 1945 Constitution and all its derivative regulations, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and legitimate government. The personality indicator has a score of 6, influence is 7, and 9 for the PUNP indicator.
The BKN Head underlined that the PUNP is the most vital indicator. “PUNP is non-negotiable,” he underlined, adding that employees with a perfect score for PUNP, their poor scores of personality or influence could still be tolerated. According to Bima, 51 employees got a negative score of PUNP.
Meanwhile, the remaining 24 employees were considered able to be trained again albeit their personality and influence scores were low. Bima added that the 24 employees could be inaugurated as civil servants as long as they attend training on civic knowledge and state defense.
