TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Police Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim) has scheduled to summon the BPJS Kesehatan (Healthcare and Social Security Agency) president director, Ali Ghufron Mukti, in links to the alleged social security data breach of 279 million users’ confidential data on the internet.
“Summoned to obtain clarification on Monday, May 24,” said Bareskrim cybercrime director, Brig. Gen. Slamet Uliandi.
Police will try to obtain information regarding BPJS employees who are responsible for the operations of public data.
Data of more than 200 million BPJS participants that include people’s personal information from their names, ID numbers, ID cards, phone numbers, email accounts, up to wages had allegedly been compromised.
