TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) chairman Rosan P Roeslani confirmed 22,736 corporations have registered to participate in the Gotong Royong Covid-19 Vaccination program, which is an independent immunization program held by corporations for workers.

“Alhamdulillah, the vaccine program meets with positive responses not only from ministers and others but also from the business world. Approximately 22,736 companies have registered with more than 10 million recipients,” said Rosan as broadcasted on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

Rosan said that the independent vaccination program received tremendous enthusiasm and was expected to bring positive impacts on the health sector and help the economic recovery. “If this runs well and yields results, more companies will join in,” he added.

The implementation of the Covid-19 vaccine in this independent scheme is under the responsibility of corporations for workers and their families.

Based on the Health Ministry’s Decree (KMK) No. HK 01. 07/Menkes/4643/2021, the vaccination cost is set at Rp879,140 per person because one vaccine shot is set at Rp117,910 and the vaccination service is priced at Rp117,910 per dose.

The price determination is the cost for the purchase of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccines through state-run pharmacy PT Bio Farma which will be used for the Gotong Royong Covid-19 Vaccination program.
