Jokowi Monitors 'Gotong Royong' Vaccination Program in Cikarang

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo today, May 18, monitored the initial implementation of the private vaccination program or ‘Gotong Royong’ vaccine program for workers in Jababeka Industrial Area, Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java. The initial program was held in the factory building of consumer goods giant PT Unilever Indonesia.
“The state head is scheduled to monitor the simultaneous implementation of the vaccination program for workers from dozens of companies across various sites in Jabodetabek (Jakarta Greater Area) via a video conference,” as quoted from the statement of the Presidential Secretariat’s Press, Media, and Information Bureau today, May 18.
According to the Health Ministerial Decree No.HK 01.07/Menkes/4643/2021, the vaccine price in the private vaccination program is set at Rp879,140 per person for two injections. The cost is based on the calculation of the price of each shot at Rp321,660 and the maximum tariff for vaccination service at Rp117,910 per dose.
The cost was set for the purchase of the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine through state-run pharmacy PT Bio Farma that will be used for the ‘Gotong Royong’ vaccine program, which is vaccination paid by corporations for employees and their families.
