Video of Self Proclaimed Prophet Joseph Paul Zhang Taken Down

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Communication and Informatics Ministry (Kominfo) has reportedly taken down a video that caused a public outcry of Joseph Paul Zhang who proclaimed to be the 26th Prophet of Islam.
So far, the ministry has taken down 20 videos with hate speech content uploaded on Youtube, including Joseph's video, on April 19-20.
“The Kominfo took down 20 [of Youtube videos] that contained hate speech with one of the videos entitled ‘puasa lalim Islam’ from Joseph’s account,” said Kominfo spokesperson Dedy Permadi in an online press conference on Tuesday, April 20.
He explained that the takedown follows the rules overseen by Government Regulation No.71/2019 on electronic transactions and systems under Article 5 and Article 96.
The Ministry deemed the statement made by Joseph Paul Zhang couldn't be tolerated and was unacceptable as it has abolished the country’s unity by bringing up issues related to ethnicity, religion, and race in the digital realm.
