TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria confirmed there will be no major changes at the city hall office, Central Jakarta. The statement was made in response to the spatial planning for offices of regional working units.
"It is just an arrangement. There is no significant revamp," said Riza at the City Hall, Central Jakarta on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
Governor Anies Baswedan previously issued decree No. 442/2021 on the reorganization of offices for regional apparatus in the City Hall complex. The plan will use the Jakarta Regional Budget (APBD).
Riza explained that this arrangement only regulates the location of offices. For example, the office of regional working unit A will be moved to another floor or its office size will be enlarged.
"Do not think that the City Hall will have a significant renovation," Riza underlined.
In the Gubernatorial Decree No. 442/2021 signed by Anies on April 12, 2021, it was stated that employees could continue their duties during the arrangement of office space.
The regional working units, Riza Patria went on, would coordinate with the General and Administrative Bureau of the Regional Secretariat for the installation of partitions, new doors, and or installation of telephones, water, air conditioning, and electricity.
