TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan on Wednesday said that the city administration needs to collaborate with the central government to succeed programs in the field of transportation, tourism area developments, flood control, and clean water infrastructure.
“All of that needs collaboration with the central government,” said Baswedan in opening the city’s development planning forum (Musrenbang) on Wednesday, April 14.
The collaboration focuses on teamwork that is oriented in timeline and goals as he said coordination in technocratic aspects have been established.
Anies Baswedan asserts that developments in the capital city is not the sole responsibility of the regional administration. It must collaborate with the central government, the private sector, the public, and non-Indonesian institutions based in the capital city.
“Jakarta’s development must be planned as a mutual assisted development,” said the governor.
