    TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As the government continues to push vaccination programs, Indonesia is still recording new cases of Covid-19. As of Wednesday noon, April 14, the country recorded 5,656 new cases over the last 24 hours. 

    Indonesia's total caseload has now reach 1,583,182 since the virus was first detected in early March last year. 

    The number of casualties also increased with 124 more deaths reported, raising the death toll to 42,906.

    Meanwhile, the number of people who recovered from the disease increased by 5,747 to total at 1,431,892.

    The government also updated the number of Covid-19 suspect cases to 58,580 people, and reported that there were 74,158 test specimens to be examined today.
