Jokowi in East Java to Monitor Vaccinations, Inaugurate Infrastructure

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi is in East Java for a work visit on Monday, March 22. The president and a small team of ministers and staff departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta at around 07:30 on board the presidential plane, Indonesia-1.
After arriving at Juanda International Airport, Jokowi will head to Pendopo Delta Wibawa in Sidoarjo where he would inspect the mass vaccination process, the Presidential Secretariat stated on Monday.
From Sidoarjo, the President will then head to Pasuruan to inaugurate the Umbulan Drinking Water Supply System in Sidepan Winongan Village.
Later on the day, the President and his entourage will head to the Pendopo of Jombang Regency to monitor another mass vaccination, afterwards he would return to Juanda Airport to fly back to Jakarta.
Among President Jokowi's retinue were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno and Health Minister Budi Sadikin, the President's Military Secretary TNI Young Marshal M. Tonny Harjono, and the Presidential Secretariat's deputy for protocol, press, and media Bey Machmudin.
