TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - South Tangerang administrators have officially started the second phase of the Covid-19 vaccination on Wednesday that was held at the area of Alam Sutera as 700 doses were given to traders in the area.

Health Agency Head Alin Hendalin Mahdaniar on Tuesday stated that the vaccines are given to traders that are registered by the South Tangerang Industry and City Trade Agency. “The verification and data collection was done by the agency,” he said.

There are also additional 200 Covid-19 vaccine doses for mall employees.

He also said the vaccines are given based on the criteria of prioritized vaccine recipients such as market traders aged over 60 years old.

South Tangerang City’s second phase vaccination program will also see vaccinations for members of the Armed Forces (TNI) and Police, state apparatus, and public servants - the latter category includes DPRD members, journalists, market traders, and more.
