BMKG Predicts Rain in Jakarta Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) warned the potential for rain in several areas in the Indonesian capital city of Jakarta on Saturday, March 6.
"Be aware of the potential for rain with lightning in East and South Jakarta areas at noon and afternoon; in North Jakarta area at dawn," said the climatology agency on its official webpage www.bmkg.go.id.
The agency predicted the rain with lightning would fall in South Jakarta area at noon. Meanwhile, the medium intensity rain would shower the areas in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and East Jakarta.
In North Jakarta, the rain would fall in light intensity. As for the Thousand Islands area, BMKG forecasted cloudy wheather.
The average temperature in the entire Jakarta City would be around 24-33 degrees Celcius.
BMKG also predicted the humidity level at 65-95 percent.
