TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Monday, March 1, paid a visit to the mass-Covid-19 vaccination that was held in the Special Region of Yogyakarta held at the city’s Beringharjo Market.
“I witnessed the vaccination procedure that was held for Beringharjo market traders and also for street traders, business owners and store attendants, and businesses located across the Malioboro Street, which was done smoothly,” said the president in his acceptance speech during his visit.
According to him, there are a total of 19,900 Covid-19 vaccine recipients in this phase of vaccination and hoped that it would help kickstart an economic recovery in the region.
