Heavy Rain, Strong Wind Likely Hit Jakarta Today: BMKG

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts a potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in parts of Jakarta today, February 22, 2021.
Light rains will likely shower South Jakarta and East Jakarta on Monday afternoon, while West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands will likely have cloudy weather.
At night, the agency predicts that the entire area of Jakarta including the Thousand Islands will be cloudy.
Early hours of Tuesday, however, rains will fall in the Thousand Islands while the weather in Jakarta will likely be cloudy.
Throughout Monday, the capital city’s air temperature is estimated to be in the normal range of 23 to 32 degrees Celsius. The humidity level, meanwhile, will be around 65 percent to 95 percent, prior to rain.
