KPK Leaders, Workers to Get Covid-19 Vaccine Shots Starting Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will begin receiving Covid-19 vaccine injections starting today, February 18. KPK's acting spokesman Ali FIkri said the vaccination period will take place until February 23, or Tuesday next week.
Ali said the vaccination time is from 09:00 am until 5:00 pm every day, located in the KPK Juang Building.
He said that the vaccine injection will be given to all workers of the KPK, prisoners and detainees, as well as journalists and other parties working within the antigraft body's vicinity.
Indonesia has kick-started the second phase of its Covid-19 vaccination program, which covers elderlies and public workers, such as KPK employees and journalists. In the first phase, the vaccines were prioritized for health workers.
The Covid-19 vaccine administering is expected to be completed in May this year. The second phase's vaccination recipient target covers 38.5 million people, comprising 16.9 million public workers and 21.5 million elderly.
