TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The number of patients treated at Jakarta’s Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Covid-19 emergency hospital is gradually reducing as spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian on Monday said 76 people have been released from the hospital.

This latest update still leaves 3,222 people still being treated at the Wisma Atlet facility’s towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 which consists of 1,651 men and 1,571 women.

“It has reduced by 76 patients. It was initially 3,298 patients in total,” Aris Mudian wrote in his statement on Monday, February 15.

The Wisma Atlet Covid-19 emergency hospital in total has seen 61,054 patients being admitted since March 2020 when the Covid-19 outbreak initially started. In total 57,832 people were released from the hospital with 57,114 recoveries and 84 deaths.

However, the Wisma Atlet Pademangan saw a contrast and recorded 381 new patients admitted to the hospital on Sunday with a total of 3,585 patients treated at this facility up until February 15.
