President Jokowi Receives Letter of Credence of New Ambassadors in Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Thursday accepted the letter of credence from seven new ambassadors to the Republic of Indonesia at the Merdeka Palace.
The seven ambassadors will all be based in Jakarta and this ceremonial event marks the start of the ambassadors’ assignment in Indonesia.
Accompanied by each country's national anthem, the seven Ambassadors in turn arrived at the courtyard of the Presidential Palace. Subsequently, they submitted the Letter of Credence to President Jokowi.
The new ambassadors include:
Muhammad Mostafizur Rahman Bangladesh ambassador to Indonesia
Muhammad Hassan as the Pakistan ambassador to Indonesia.
Indian ambassador to Indonesia Manoj Kumar Bharti
Czech ambassador to Indonesia Jaroslav Dolecek
Japan ambassador to Indonesia Kanasugi Kenji
Andrian Balanescu, Romanian ambassador to Indonesia
Amenatave Vakasavuwaqa, Republic of Fiji ambassador to Indonesia
