Commuters Take Note; 11 Transjakarta Bus Stops Set to Be Under Renovation

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Transportasi Jakarta or Transjakarta is set to renovate 11 of its bus stops in five main corridors in the capital city starting this month in February and will last until March. Due to the renovation process the bus stops will be temporarily closed.
According to Transjakarta director of operations, Prasetia Budi, the renovation will replace the flooring materials that are made from steel plates to fiber cements. The renovation on 11 bus stops will be done gradually.
“Customers who usually use the bus stops will have to stop at alternative stops for their daily activities,” said Budi on February 2.
The Transjakarta bus stops that will undergo the renovation are as follows: (Corridor 3) Kalideres, Sumur Bor, Jembatan Baru; (Corridor 2) Istiqlal, Deplu, Gambir 1, Gambir 2, RSPAD; (Corridor 6) Ragunan; (Corridor 9) Pinang Ranti; and Pulogadung in Corridor 4.
