TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta continues with the national Covid-19 vaccination program today, January 15. The groups of people who will receive the shots today are public officials, religious leaders, and representatives of professional organizations.

Jakarta Health Office head Widyastuti said the participants had been registered in a systematic manner at the Jakarta City Hall Health Center Primary Clinic.

The vaccination process begins with the registration table, where participants show the e-ticket they got from the PeduliLindungi app for verification.

Then they go to the screening table for some medical check-ups and answering questions related to their health.

Then, they go to table three where the injection is given. After they receive the shot, they will proceed to table four to be observed and briefed for about 30 minutes. They will also receive a vaccine certificate and given a schedule for the second shot.

Jakarta began its vaccination program on January 14. The vaccination is prioritized for 131 health workers, followed by government officials, civil servants, service sector workers, banking, and others.

The third stage of vaccination is for vulnerable groups. Meanwhile, the general public and other economic actors will get the vaccines last, using a cluster approach based on the availability of the vaccines.
