TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Pertamina noted that jet fuel consumption decreased after the Christmas and New Year holidays. This information was revealed by Pertamina acting manager for communication relations & CSR, Marthia Mulia Asri on Thursday, January 14.
The average aircraft fuel distribution in the central areas Java is around 142 kiloliters per day, down from 190 kiloliters per day during the holiday season.
Even though the consumption rate declined, Pertamina is still preparing stocks or reserves. For the beginning of this year, Marthia ensures that jet fuel stock is safe with a reserve that can last up to 50 days.
Pertamina will also ensure the availability of BBM and LPG, especially during the period of mobility restrictions or PPKM until January 25.
"There is no suspension or operational restriction, we will continue to provide services as normal whilst strictly implementing Covid-19 protocols in all Pertamina facilities," she said.
