Jakarta Covid-19 Emergency Hospital Takes in 228 New Patients on Christmas Eve

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta's Covid-19 Emergency Hospital or the Wisma Atlet reported 228 new patients admitted to Towers 4, 6, and 7 on Thursday, December 24. From March 23 to Christmas Eve, the hospital has taken in 36,330 patients for coronavirus treatment.
"There are now 3,331 in-patients," Wisma Atlet Hospital spokesman Aris Mudian said in a written statement.
There are now 1,036 patients undergoing independent isolation at Tower 5 of Wisma Atlet. "The number is down by 12 people," Aris said.
To date, 32,452 people have been discharged after recovering. Meanwhile, 535 patients were referred to other hospitals, while 12 died.
The self-isolation tower has so far taken in 21,552 people, with 20,350 discharged after recovering and two referred to other hospitals.
