Sri Mulyani: State Collects Rp616 Bln from Digital Tech Company Tax

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati on Wednesday said the directorate general of taxation continues to collect tax revenues from digital technology coompanies.
“The tax revenue from the electronic system collected from 23 digital companies was Rp616 billion,” said Sri Mulyani in a virtual press conference on December 23.
“We will collect them all until the end of this year,” said the state minister as she said there still remains five more companies but announced that the total tax revenue has been 85.65 percent collected from a goal of collecting Rp 1,019.56 trillion.
She also said the annual tax return forms (SPT) had reached 76.86 percent from 49 tax offices (KPP) that have reached their initial goals and projects another 6 taxation directorate general regional offices will also reach its goal before December 31, 2020.
