5 Movies on Netflix to Enjoy Christmas Holiday

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Christmas and New Year holidays are usually spent together with loved ones while enjoying delicious meals. But this year Christmas will be spent quite differently, as the pandemic Covid-19 puts a restraint on gatherings with large crowds.

Thanks to digital technology and streaming services, families can still get the holiday cheer they need in the comfort of their own homes. Pink Villa has listed several films to watch on Netflix this Christmas, available as of December 15.

1. Let It Snow (2019)

Based on a young adult novel of the same name, the rom-com tells the story of how high school friends spend their Christmas Eve during a snowstorm.  

2. The Knight Before Christmas (2019)

The firm shows us how a medieval English knight is magically transported to modern-day Ohio during the holiday, where he meets and falls for a science teacher.

3. A Christmas Prince (2017)

An inspiring journalist goes to Aldovia to get a scoop on a prince who is about to be king. The movie spawns to sequels:  A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding, and A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby.

4. Santa Girl (2019)

Santa's only daughter is forced to marry a men she never met before she can take over the family business. She decides to explore the real world and sets off to college with her trusty elf. 

5. Wedding Planner (2017)

A wedding planner is in charge with the most important wedding of her career. Things go south after she meets a private investigator.
