Jakarta Announce Rp82 Trillion Budget Plan to Help 2021 Pandemic Recovery

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD Jakarta) and the Jakarta Administration has agreed upon the 2021 Provisional Budget Ceiling and Priorities (KUA-PPAS) on next year’s regional budget plan (RAPBD) of Rp82.5 trillion.
The Jakarta DPRD budget plan member, Abdul Aziz, said the COVID-19 mitigation post received the highest allocation which include economic recovery plans, public assistance, and other programs to assist the public endure the pandemic.
Members of the DPRD and Jakarta administration discussed the 2021 Provisional Budget Ceiling and Priorities (KUA-PPAS) since November.
The meeting agenda report also mentions that the Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan will be scheduled to give a speech regarding the 2021 budget plan along with other announcements related to the administration’s regulation revision.
