10 Jobs Most Affected by Pandemic-related Crisis according to BPS

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Statistics Indonesia (BPS) recorded that there had been 2.56 million people that are unemployed due to the economic effects caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Out of this total number of unemployment, the Manpower Ministry on Wednesday listed 10 types of jobs that were strongly affected by the economic crisis as follows:
- Agents and sales intermediaries (10.1 percent)
- Car, van, and motorcycle drivers (7.3 percent)
- Mining and construction workers (6.7 percent)
- General office staff (6.7 percent)
- Chemical and Physics Technicians (5.6 percent)
- Cleaning services, housekeepers, hotels and offices (5.1 percent)
- Various sales workers (4.5 percent)
- Building and housekeeping supervisors (4.5 percent)
- Blue-collar workers (3.9 percent)
- Processing industry workers (3.9 percent)
BPS also recorded 29.12 million productive-age population were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with 24 million of them still working but has undergone various work reductions.
