Minor Earthquake Hits Jembrana, Bali on Early Tuesday Morning

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) reported on November 24 of a magnitude 4.1 earthquake that struck Jembrana, Bali, in the early morning of Tuesday.
“The epicenter of the quake is 67 kilometers southwest of Jembrana,” wrote the BMKG in its official report.
The hypocenter is at the depth of 78 kilometers with coordinates of 8.95 south latitude and 114.53 east longitude.
Reports state that the earthquake was felt by residents outside of the Jembrana region and up to the area of Badung. No further updates have been provided regarding the physical damages caused by this minor quake.
