TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Central Jakarta District Court ruled Mentari Airlines or Lion Air Group out of bankruptcy. The claims were filed by two petitioners, Budi Santoso and Rolas Budiman, regarding debt postponements.
"We welcome the court's decision," Lion Air Corporate Communications Strategic officer Danang Mandala Prihantoro said Friday, November 20.
In their decision, the Panel of Judges at the Central Jakarta District Court rejected the plaintiffs' charges. "In this case, Lion Air has completed its obligations to the applicants and other creditors by entrusting it to the Central Jakarta District Court," said Danang.
He explained Lion Air had officially carried out the intended decision. The consignment approval has also been received by the Central Jakarta District Court.
"In its operation, Lion Air obeys and complies with applicable regulations," Danang said.
