TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has completed his police questioning that lasted 9 hours at the Metro Jaya Police headquarters on November 17, after being bombarded with 33 questions.
“[The questions] were made into a 23-page report,” said Anies Baswedan on November 17.
The governor initially arrived at the police HQ at 09:43 Western Indonesia Time (WIB) to undergo questioning regarding his capacity as a governor after two major events attracted large crowds, which involved the attendance of FPI leader Rizieq Shihab.
However, the former minister of education did not reveal the details of his police questioning and said the Jakarta Metro Police will be responsible for announcing the details of his questioning session claimed to focus on clarifying the situation.
Previously reported, police are in the process of summoning city officials - including the governor - who were allegedly responsible for letting the two events to take place despite the capital city being subjected to existing COVID-19 restrictions.
