TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Multi-service app firm GoJek on Friday, Nov. 13, announced that it had generated transactions worth US$12 Billion (Rp170 trillion) in 2020, which is a 10 percent increase compared to last year.
GoJek CEO Andre Sulistyo wrote that the firm is proud to remain resilient amidst a challenging year and dependable for people to remain productive while continuing to strengthen the firm’s fundamentals.
The growth is pushed by the firm’s 38 million users’ monthly active transactions across Southeast Asia and supporting services such as GTV and GoPay payment.
Entering its tenth-year, GoJek managed to make a positive contribution margin for its main services due to investments focused on strategic areas. One of them is the firm’s integrated global app in Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand.
Apart from investing in its human resources and technology, Gojek also pushes for automation. It has improved efficiencies and the app’s performance quality through GoBiz self-serve onboarding and the CareTech ticket automation.
