AirAsia Offers Unlimited Flight Pass for Rp1.5mn

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - AirAsia has launched an unlimited flight pass deal that allows travelers to fly multiple times to domestic destinations with just one ticket purchase for Rp1.5 million. The deal is valid for those logging in with a BIG membership account.

“The AirAsia Unlimited Pass for domestic travel in Indonesia is our effort to support the government in recovering the national economy,” said AirAsia Indonesia president director Veranita Yosephine Sinaga on Monday, November 9, 2020.

The pass holders can travel to various domestic destinations in Indonesia, such as Jakarta, Medan, Bali, Lombok, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and other domestic destinations on the same day with different departures.

The deal includes a free baggage allowance of 15 kilograms per domestic flight. However, passengers will be required to pay airport tax, which is free at 13 airports until December 31, 2020, Jasa Raharja Mandatory Service Fee (IWJR), optional add-ons such as more luggage, selected seats, pre-order meals, or other charges.

The flight redemption must be made at least 14 days prior to the departure date. The deal is effective beginning November 9 until November 15, 2020. The booking is available until May 16, 2021, for travels starting November 23, 2020, until May 31, 2021.

Veranita hoped passengers could enjoy the economical value of the multiple cost-effective domestic trips and free baggage. “Of course, we appeal to and remind our customers to keep maintaining discipline in implementing the health protocols while traveling for our common interest,” she said.
