TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Presidential chief of staff Moeldoko on Wednesday admitted that the public communication shown by the government in the process of forging the omnibus law on job creation was so awful that President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo told-off everyone involved in the making of it.
“Especially in the case of the omnibus job creation law. There were numerous inputs from many people. We were reminded by the president about our atrocious public communication,” Moeldoko recalled on Wednesday, October 21.
He said that the government will improve from this mistake in communication. “This is a valuable input from the outside and from the president. We will quickly improve ourselves for the future.”
Previously on Monday’s limited meeting on October 19, President Jokowi criticized the communication style exhibited by state officials regarding the omnibus law on job creation.
