TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta's Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) and the capital's Provincial Government will hold a plenary meeting on the Regional Regulation draft (raperda) for Handling COVID-19. The plenary meeting will be held at 13:00, today, October 19.
Bapemperda deputy chairman Dedi Supriadi said the plan is to have the regulation draft passed and ratified by the end of the meeting.
The meeting has fours agendas. The first is to submit the report of Jakarta's Regional Regulation Establishment Agency (Bapemperda) discussion related to the COVID-19 Prevention Regional Rules, followed by meeting leaders' request for approval from DPRD members.
The next agenda is to submit the approved raperda to Governor Anies Baswedan. Anies will then deliver his final opinion.
Dedi hope that once it is passed, the regulation draft will immediately take effect and be executed.
"We hope that as soon as the regional regulation is valid, the governor will make implementing regulations in the form of a governor regulation so that it can be implemented immediately," he said.
