TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Head, Bahlil Lahadalia, on Friday said the omnibus law on job creation will guarantee that college students will get a job after they graduate and will also accommodate them in becoming an entrepreneur.
“This law guarantees students’ future after graduation into becoming entrepreneurs with the facilities regulated in the law,” said Bahlil in a statement on Friday, October 16.
The BKPM claimed that the government continues to support the emergence of new entrepreneurs by simplifying the regulations as the omnibus law on job creation does. “Everything is electronically done through the online single submission (OSS), and in three hours, you’re done,” he said.
Bahlil hoped that new generation workers will not only prefer to become employees but also create new opportunities by becoming entrepreneurs as this would help future generations secure more jobs as employers also increase.
