Minister Luhut Will Visit China to Observe Covid-19 Vaccine

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice President spokesperson Ma’ruf Amin, Masduki Baidlowi, stated that Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Pandjaitan, along with his entourage, will depart to China to observe the development of the Covid-19 vaccine candidate.
“They’ll leave for China, in around November, to check the vaccine that will be sent to Indonesia,” Masduki said in a written statement on Friday, October 2.
He informed that in the first phase of the distribution, Indonesia will get 3 million Covid-19 vaccines. The first batch of the vaccines will be prioritized for health workers, military (TNI) and police personnel, and those who are tasked to mitigate the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The next batches will come gradually and the number is going to be a lot,” Masduki remarked.
