TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Metro Police questioned eight witnesses for the alleged harassment and extortion by EFY, a rapid test officer at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
"We have taken eight witnesses' testimonies, including people from the AOCC (Airport Operation Control Center), staff of PT Kimia Farma, as well as other witnesses," Jakarta Metro Police head of PR, Sr. Comr. Pol. Yusri Yunus said on Wednesday, September 23.
Based on the police report by LHI, plus witness testimony which strengthened the existing evidence, EF was named a suspect for the fraud.
EFY is charged with Article 378 of the Criminal Code regarding fraud. EFY told LFI that her quick test result was reactive, which was a lie. LHI retook the test in Nias, and she was shown to be non-reactive.
As for the alleged sexual harassment, the police are still gathering evidence.
