TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe Jakarta Provincial Government has outlined three steps under the Large-Scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) Program for driving recovery of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) reeling from the impacts of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

The first step aims to relax the issuance of MSMEs permits, while the second step pertains to relaxing business credit agreements, and the third involves submitting cooperative establishment deeds in 21 priority villages spread across 10 sub-districts in the capital city, Jakarta Governor Baswedan noted on Friday.

"I congratulate the friends, who have secured micro-business licenses and received credit deeds and cooperative establishment permits officially submitted today," the governor remarked.

The Jakarta provincial government is prioritizing restoration of the micro business sector, for which it offers opportunities for micro business actors to develop, Anies Baswedan stated.

"Ladies and gentlemen, who received permits, credit deeds and the establishment of cooperatives, basically, we want the state to be present for all. Hence, we are proactive in picking up the ball, so that friends can access finance to enable their businesses to grow," he remarked.

Furthermore, he is optimistic that those, who secured a business license, can optimally utilize this facility to further develop their businesses, from micro- to medium- and to large-scale.

The governor reminded those with access to credit to maintain the creditors' trust by abiding by all provisions.

"We are optimistic that this permit would be optimally utilized. Please maintain the trust of customers and financial institutions. This is since business activities are all about trust, so guard it well. Ensure that every business activity is conducted with commitment, so that micro businesses develop," Anies Baswedan added.
