TEMPO.CO, JakartaGojek, in collaboration with tech-based delivery service firm Paxel, expanded its instant shipping service GoSend Intercity Delivery to Semarang, Solo, and Yogyakarta, Central Java.

Previously, the service was only available in Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi (Jadetabek) and Bandung areas.

“This GoSend’s latest innovation is part of Gojek’s efforts to ease MSMEs in running their daily business operation starting from the marketing, order processing, payment, shipment, to administration,” said Gojek Head of Logistics, Junaidi, as quoted from Bisnis on Thursday, August 27.

Junaidi explained that customers could enjoy the flat rate for all package size (small, medium, and large) with a maximum weight of 5 kg.

The intercity delivery from Jadetabek or Bandung to Yogyakarta, Solo, or Semarang and vice versa is set at Rp30,000. Besides, the delivery from between Yogyakarta, Solo, and Semarang is only Rp15,000.

In line with the instant shipping service expansion, Gojek also launched a web ordering service via GoSend Web Portal. This feature will allow users, such as social sellers, to send large quantities of goods at once.
