TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Two explosions were heard from the Attorney General's Office as fire continues to burn parts of the building. A witness, identified as Fakhri, heard the first explosion at around 10:30 PM. Five minutes later, a second explosion was heard.
"Two explosions, one loud, one not so. The first explosion was loud," Fakhri said on Saturday, August 22, 2020.

Currently, there have been no reports concerning the number of victims of the incident as officers continue to attempt to control and extinguish the fire. As many as 43 fire engines are being mobilized to extinguish the fire.
Deputy Governor of Jakarta Riza Patria said that there is no information concerning the cause of the fire. "Until now we do not know what is the cause [of thr fire]," Riza said.
