TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital in Kemayoran, North Jakarta, announced that it is treating 1,312 inpatients related to COVID-19. The facility’s spokesperson, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian explained that 701 of them are male while 611 are female. 

“1,306 people are confirmed positives while six people there are suspected cases,” wrote Aris in today’s press release. 

This number has increased by 46 compared to Tuesday, August 18, with suspected cases remaining the same to yesterday with six patients. This 12,000-bed facility is known to only treat those with minor symptoms while severe cases are transferred to other hospitals. 

In total, since treating COVID-19 cases on March 23, 11,024 have been treated as patients at the Wisma Atlet Emergency hospital with 9,056 recoveries and 3 deaths.
