TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Thousand Island Archipelago tourists destination on the South Part of Jakarta has been reopened during the new normal period of the Covid-19 pandemic. People can now cross to the Thousand Island Archipelago through the Marina Port in Ancol or the Kali Adem Port in North Jakarta.
Tourists looking to cross to the Thousand Island Archipelago using the official ship of the Jakarta Transportation Agency will receive a 50 percent discount on their ticket price. "Ticket price discount of 50 percent applies starts today and during the Covid-19 pandemic for all passengers," said Sulistiyono Widodo, Chief of the Service Unit for the Water Transportation Management Unit of the Jakarta Transportation Agency on Thursday, July 30, 2020.
The crossing route using the official ship of the Jakarta Transportation Agency that receives a discount is the Kali Adem Port, North Jakarta to a number of islands in the Thousand Island Archipelago. For Zone I route from Kali Adem Port to Untung Jawa Island, Lancang Island, and Pari Island, the price is reduced from the previous IDR 44,000 to IDR 22,000.
Meanwhile, the ticket price for Zone II from Kali Adem to Tidung Island, Pramuka Island, and Kelapa Island is reduced from the previous IDR 54,000 to IDR 27,000. Ticket price for Zone III from Kali Adem to Sebira Island is reduced from the previous IDR 74,000 to become IDR 37,000.
Every passengers willing to cross to the Thousand Island Archipelago must undergo health examination by checking their body temperature, wash their hands, keep physical distance, and put on a mask. The capacity of each ship will be reduced to 50 percent.
