TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria on Tuesday assures that the government continues to evaluate the city’s second phase transitional PSBB (large-scale social restrictions) which will end on July 30.
“We will evaluate it within the next two days. There will be three options available,” said the deputy governor in City Hall today, July 28.
According to Riza, the first option is to further lift the COVID-19 health restrictions if the evaluation comes back with improvements across a number of social aspects. However, the government will introduce the third transitional PSBB phase if infection rates remain high.
“But it isn’t impossible to return to a full PSBB if the situation is worsening,” said Ahmad Riza Patria.
The Jakarta administration, according to the deputy governor, continues to closely coordinate efforts with the national COVID-19 task force composed of multiple experts, government instances, and units upon deciding future decisions in terms of restrictions.
