COVID-19 in Jakarta: 95 New Cases Push Total Tally Over 11,000

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta COVID-19 mitigation task force announced 95 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease today, June 29. To date, the total tally has reached 11,080.
“The number of positive cases rises by 95,” the city’s health agency head, Widyastuti, confirmed in an online press conference today, June 29.
Widyastuti said that out of the total positive cases, 1,017 patients were still being treated at hospitals, while 3,299 others were self-isolating at their homes.
The number of recoveries in the capital city, she added, hit 6,118, up by 253 from yesterday’s 5,865 cases. While death toll amounted to 638.
Meanwhile, the number of people under monitoring (ODP) stood at 26,652, and the number of patients under surveillance (PDP) was recorded at 17,605.
As for the latest national data, 54,010 people have tested positive for COVID-19, with death toll reaching 2,754 and 22,936 patients declared cured.
