TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Shopping Center Association Ellen Hidayat ensured that there would be no age limit for shopping mall visitors located across Jakarta.
“There will be no age prohibition. Whether they are aged 5 or lower, everyone is allowed in,” said Ellen in a discussion uploaded at the BNPB Youtube account on Friday, June 26.
Moreover, Ellen is confident that mall management has applied the proper health measures such as body temperature checks and the use of self-hygiene products prior to entering mall facilities.
“The maximum temperature is 37.5 degrees celsius,” said Ellen, who noted that anything above that will be asked to return home.
Other protocols that are applied by shopping malls include restricting the number of people in elevators to 8-people at its maximum capacity to maintain physical distancing. Ellen also said there would be a COVID-19 task force meant to watch visitors in malls and enforce health protocols.
