BKSDA Reintroduces Slow Loris, Changeable Hawk to the Wild

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Bengkulu Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA Bengkulu) announced that it has reintroduced a male slow loris and a changeable hawk-eagle at the Bukit Kaba natural park in the Rejang Lebong Regency.
BKSDA Bengkulu Head of conservation, Said Jauhari, said in Thursday’s press release that the reintroduction is part of the recovery effort of the region and its natural ecosystem.
The team reported that the health of both creatures has been screen checked thoroughly to prepare them for their new home that has sufficient food sources, nesting places, and breeding possibilities.
“The reintroductions of the slow loris and changeable hawk-eagle will not hamper the ecosystem balance at the Bukit Kaba natural park.
