Wisma Atlet Announces 2,972 Covid-19 Recoveries

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital saw 22 more people recovering from Covid-19 as of today, June 18. With the new recoveries, the hospital in Central Jakarta now has seen 2,972 patients winning against the new coronavirus since it was opened on March 23. 

However, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian said the hospital also had 49 new patients today. As of last night, the total number of patients that Wisma Atlet had taken in since March reached 4,649, three of whom died.

Aris said that as of Thursday morning the hospital was still treating 618 in-patients; 323 males, 295 females. 

The hospital recorded that 576 of 618 in-patients tested positive for Covid-19. Today, there was an addition of 28 positive cases.

The other 41 patients were reactive to the rapid test, while one is still a suspect (ODP).
