Jakarta Notes 31 RW Prone to Covid-19 Transmission

TEMPO.CO, JakartaJakarta Health Agency recorded a total of 31 community units (RW) that are prone to the transmission of the new coronavirus that caused Covid-19.

Widyastuti, the agency’s head, said that the figures are close to the 66 RW that are categorized as red zones and are under strict monitoring.

“These areas are not necessarily classified as tightly-controlled areas. This is just an early warning because they are feared to be a red zone,” she said at the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) building, Central Jakarta, Thursday, June 18.

According to Widyastuti, the agency is continuously supervising the city’s areas up to the sub-district level. 

The following is the list of 31 RW prone to the virus transmission:

  1. Menteng District:

- Pegangsaan Sub-district: RW 01 (29 Covid-19 active cases)

- Kebon Sirih Sub-district: RW 08 (6 active cases) and RW 10 (2 active cases)

  1. Senen District 

- Kenari Sub-district: RW 04 (30 active cases)

- Senen Sub-district: RW 04 Pasar Senen Dalam (8 active cases)

  1. Cempaka Putih District

- Cempaka Putih Timur Sub-district: RW 02 (13 active cases) and RW 03 (5 active cases) Pasar Rawa Kerbau

  1. Tanjung Priok District

- Sunter Jaya Sub-district: RW 01 (14 active cases), RW 02 (13 active cases), and RW 09 (6 active cases)

  1. Tambora District

- Jembatan Besi Sub-district: RW 01 (10 active cases), RW 3 (1 active case), RW 4 (9 active cases), RW 7 (12 active cases), and RW 10 (13 active cases)

  1. Johar Baru District

- Kampung Rawa Sub-district: RW 02 (14 active cases)

  1. Palmerah District

- Jatipulo Sub-district: RW 5 (9 active cases), RW 6 (4 active cases), RW 7 (4 active cases), RW 10 (13 active cases)

  1. Grogol Petamburan District

- Tomang Sub-district: RW 2 (1 case), RW 10 (1 case), RW 5 (1 case), RW 11 (1 case), RW 6 (3 cases), RW 12 (6 cases), RW 7 (2 case), and RW 13 (1 case)

  1. Jatinegara District

- Kampung Melayu Sub-district: RW 02 (12 active cases)

  1. Kemayoran District

- Kemayoran Sub-district: RW 07 (9 active cases)
