TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian social media users witnessed the actions of North Luwu Regent, Indah Putri Indriani, riding a make-shift trail motorcycle or dirt bike amidst an offroad muddy terrain in the area of Seko. According to the post, motorcycles such as these are the only means of transportation able to transport dozens of kilograms worth of social assistance.
Based on the post the regent uploaded in its account @indahnyalutra, the dirt bike is a modification from a moped that is often used as city commuter vehicles.
The use of mopeds to thunder through the difficult terrains of Seko is due to the lightweight the motorcycle has. The one ridden by Indah Putri Indriani visually has a significantly higher ground clearance and has added fuel capacity to transport the supplies.
